DAY 2:
We wake up rather early and water-taxi over to USO. Arrived about 10-15 minutes after opening, and all decided to do Shrek 4D
We were sitting in the second row, so the visual affects were lost on us
After, we ALL wanted to do ROTM so bad! So, we head to New York, and store bags in the lockers. Speed thru the EP line, and the TM tried to scare us by jumping out and yelling "EXPRESS PASSES!" LOL finally got on the ride, and at first, weren't sure what all the hype was about. "Lame" animation, seemed like a boring ride-thru. But THEN we got shot backwards, and up a hill. ZOOM! Off we go, cursed. I think by the end we had a new favorite ride
Now, we really want to do Jaws, so we do the customary pic, and then go on the ride. L-A-M-E! Sorry Jaws lovers
Me and Sam found a video on youtube of the ride, so we knew the lines by heart. Bad acting at it's best...if that makes any sense! Dad didn't want to do Earthquake, so the girls go on. Ride portion was only worth the wait, but barely. I don't know why they made the ride shorter?
Off now to World Expo for MIB. We have Meal Deal this day, so Food and Film Festival it is. But first, a ride on ET. What the heck?! I don't remember this ride from when I was 2 (of course) but it was just weird...cute, yeah sure. Weird? Yes. Mom wants to see the Animal Actors show, so we shoot for the 2:15. Lunch at F&F Festival, followed by the show. Cute, but I wish they'd show more. Vote was for Mummy again, which we did twice in a row. Once again, FOTL rocks!
I wanr to do Jimmy Neutron before we head to IoA, so off we go. We caught the next show, so in we go. It was actually really enjoyable and cute. I love simulator rides myself. While it wasn't top-notch, it was still a good experiance. We're off to IoA for more fun.
By now it is 4, and the first thing we do over at IoA? Hulk!
The best words? "I think...I think it's going to work..." "warning...warning" "NOOOOOO!" Of course, we just HAD to do Spidey, and then...Dr. Doom! *scary music here*. I love free-fall rides too (a bit of a thrill-rides junkie), and this one takes the top. It's not as nicely themed as ToT at that "other theme park", but still a great ride. Really lifts you out of your seat at the top there! So we decide we're FINALLY going to do DD, much anticipated for. Dad sat this out, and us girls went thru the EP line. ICE was the dragon of choice. Sorry, DD fans, but I didn't care for this coaster. Too rough and discombobulating.
Sam and I headed for Flying Unicorn next, and loved it. We're both 14. Well, then I was 13, but my birthday was the next day. Went to Comic Strip Cafe for dinner, followed by Popeye and Dudley 2X. It was fun going to Me Ship, the Olive and squirting our "victims" on Popeye.
They deserved it, and we were looking for our revenge LOL. Then, of course, JPRA. Gotta love an 85-ft drop into water after getting eaten by a T-Rex
Dr. Doom and Hulk at dusk/twilight/almost dark were next, and the views were stunning! Then around 9 we hightailed it to USO for Cinesphere 360. It was neat to see the pictures on the buildings, and the fireworks were pretty. We were at one of the docks in SanFran/AMITY, so we saw 3 of the globes. So, back to RPR. Watched Fresh Prince of Bel-Air before going to bed around 11:30.
Coming up: DAY 3, OR Meg's birthday!
Day 3:
*Wake-up call at midnight...gee I wonder who?
*Renting a cabana by the pool for the day
*Dinner at Bubba Gump's!
*Shopping at CityWalk
