Monday the 15th, we got to IOA at 9:30am and ate at Cinnabon. From there we went to Suessland, and at 11:00 we went to Poseidon's Fury. We almost didn't go on this, because when we asked what it was, the worker said he was pio tech and special effects. It sounded cheesy, but boy, I'm glad we did it. It was great!
We jumped to US and got pictures of Chuckie and Spongebob, for my son. We then did the Barney show at 11:15. We basically did it, so I could have another video for my nieces and nephews to watch. But even if your not a fan, I still think it was a cute and well produced show. Of course, since I worked in childcare, for so many years, and having my son, I knew all the words to the songs he sang, and I sang with it, with my son and hubby looking at me funny. LOL They had cool things, from the ceiling, come down, which added a neat effect.
We finally got to see the 12:45 show of the Extreme Ghost Busters. OMG you ladies were so right. Okay, although they were tad young, boy, were they ever cute!
My favorite is the guy in the cowboy hat, in the gray overalls. I was about to faint, when he did the "I'm too sexy..." line, and he shook his bun bun!
Helloooo!
We had lunch at Lombards, which we all enjoyed. Dh- Shrimp Alfredo, which he enjoyed better here, than at Mytho's.Ds had the Linguini, and liked his meal too. I had the chicken Caesar. The chicken was awesome and tender. Our waiter, William, was great! He showed us pictures of his family, and drew silly pictures for my son. He also encouraged, to walk over to the fish tank, to see the fish. Although we were up close to the tank, we still had a great view of it, from our seats. We were finally given enough butter for our rolls, which were great too.
We decided to grab dessert at the Boardwalk Funnel. We got soft served, in a waffle cone. It was huge and good! It was actually cheaper here, than the ones we loved to get at Six Flags. After eating, we went back to MIB, and rode it 4 times, to try to improve our scores. It was awesome, to bypass the lines! HEHEH Dh heard someone ask, what kind of card to they have! So glad Universal offers the free lockers, to throw our camera in! We were able to get back on MIB, D.Dragons, by going through the baby swap area. We also got to see the Blue Brothers Cmas show. It was good and worth to see it!
We got to get in Courage George play area. (earlier in the week it was clsoed)although I thought it was too cool to play in that area, I did see a few kids, in their bathing suits, running around, with bare feet. Don't know how they were able to stand that! We went however towards the back, to let son play in the ball pit. He had a lot of fun there, and didn't want to leave.
Dh went up a hill, next to the ball pit and saw construction. He saw a slab of concrete, and a large crane.
We then saw the Star Toon Holiday Show. They do one song, break, for pictures and then come up for another song. It probably only be a total of 5 minutes, but they take forever to pose for pictures.
We finished up with Jimmy and then Shrek. We saw the parade passing through, so ran to 8th street, and thought that area was the best, to see them going around the turn. because they have to slow down, to get better pictures, and ds was able to get more candy there. The reason why we watched it again, was so I could video tape this time. SO many times, I don't get the fun watching the shows, etc., because I'm looking through the camera. SO this time, we watched everything and if we enjoyed it, we would go back and video tape it. Finished with another time in Cat in the Hat, which still had bugs in it.(volume would stop and the air in the shower scene wasn't working).
