Day 2 in the parks, The 13th we started in IOA. We first made our way to Suessland. We went on the Carousel, and then to One Fish, Two Fish.... I thought it looked silly, but have to say, we had to much fun on that. Makes me smile to think of it. We laughed the whole time. Then we went to Cat in the Hat, we must have rode that at least 4 times, during the week and everytime "something" wasn't working. At least going so many times, we were able to see different parts, different times, to see what it's supposed to be. Ashame, though, that they can't get this ride running well.
I didn't have a chance to jot in my notebook, every ride we went on, so will fast forward, to 1:20ish, where we went to Mythos. There was no wait, to be seated. Love the whole idea of this place, however, have to say I went away, not loving the food. It wasn't bad, but nothing spectacular. Not sure if it was just my dish, or I'm picky. Our waiter, although not rude, wasn't overly nice neither. Kind-of snobby. The rolls were good, but didn't give enough butter. Little triangle, and I felt funny, to ask for more. Dh got the Shrimp Linguini. He said it was good, but has had better, at home restaurants. I got the Chicken Pasta, it was okay. Hardly any chicken, and the pasta, was tubed-liked, and were plain.
The menu said fresh pasta, so I thought it would be so much better than the box pasta I buy at the market, but it didn't taste any different. Ds got the Linguini in Alfredo sauce, and said it was good. We shared the cheesecake roll, for dessert. I have to say, this was so yummy, and the best dessert we had all week.
At 8:00 we went to CityWalk for dinner. We ate at Margartaville, which had a 1 1/2hour wait, but since we had out special "key", we only waited 45 minutes. Dh and I both had the BBQ ribs, Ds- Macaroni Cheese. I had 2 drinks and hubby had one. Total bill game around $59.00. The place was a lot of fun, with the music and the guys in stilts, over us, making balloon creations, for the kiddies, and some for drunken folks. LOL
