We toured around the parks, hitting our favorites such as MIB, Spiderman, and Mummy for the rest of the day on Monday. Late Mon. night back in the room, we decided to take in Sea World the next day. Opted to taxi to SW since we were ready way before the shuttle was due. Wow, talk about masses of people trying to buy tickets and get through security! Yea! I remembered to pull out the AAA card and at least saved some on our tickets. Saw a few of the shows that were favorites last year.....Shamu, Pets Ahoy, and of course Clyde and Seymour (liked this show much better last year) Got to C & S early just to get out of the crowds/heat.....forgot about the preshow mime.....what a riot!! Ate at Sharks accidently? by that I mean, stood in a line to see about ressies for later and found out there were none and would be about 1hr wait later for avail. seat. So, there we were about 11:30 (of course ds18 is ALWAYS hungry! lol) It was fun to see the sharks but I know we wouldn't do it again. It was nice that the waiter didn't charge for a "shark salad" that ds ordered but didn't touch...looked like coleslaw dumped upside down out of a dixie cup w/tortilla triangle sticking out of it. Fought crowds and rain at SW (ponchos AND US umbrella once again in room) Decided to head back to RPR around 5. Took in some more US park stuff and souveniers. Opted not to get the laser picture of us done in resin because it was $120 (and priv. vendor so no discounts allowed) and they couldn't put all four of us together in it......fell in love w/flat, 2-D sample last year and decided that's what I wanted this year......until I saw the more expensive new 3-D version.....oh well. I ended up buying a yellow sweatshirt w/pic of RPR embroidered on it instead. HA! remembered to use the 'ol AP card and saved over $10 on it! Dh and I stayed in the parks and watched fireworks one last time......this time at the end of the lagoon (opposite end as MIB) No fallout from here, but one side of display quit working for a bit (set them all off after show was over). DSs had gone off on their own and said they'd meet us back at room. Dh and I wandered over to City Walk and decided to have one last Margarita from Margaritaville. Used takeout window and then found a bench near the boatdock and just took in all the lights. We also bought dd a name necklace from one of the stands right there. We watched the guy bend the silver wire into her name in about 5 min. That was our last souvenier to buy....wah!!! We still had most of Wed. to play since I managed to get us a 2 pm late checkout and our limo wouldn't be there til 4 so after having breakfast in the club lounge "one last time"......finding everything we did that day was "one last time" we headed over to the parks. We had plenty of time to get back to the room and shower before 2 and called for bellman to load up. Checked out and walked around to Jake's for a late lunch.....service was reeeeeallly slow for them not being busy at all. We lucked out though, because skies opened up again while we were sitting there and we watched people running by the windows soaking wet. The H2 came precisely at 4pm and ds18 couldn't decide whetehr we should wait in the distance, stand at the curb, blend w/crowd, or what. lol. Driver was wonderful, coming over to shake our hands and ask how the vacation went. Then he drove down Int. Drive and took the long way to airport. DSs were waving to everyone along the way....what a blast! DD called from home while we were in the limo to inform us our flight was delayed 2 hrs..... I'm writing one part my trip report titled "RPR- Murphy's Law" so you'll get an idea. Right now, that covers about all of our RPR stay. Hard Rock, NBA, Nascar, Margaritaville, Jake's, US Louis', and lots of other snack places.......good thing we did lots of walking!! lol
