RPH Luau info please

Hi all,

Planning a trip in late August and was wondering about the RPH Luau. Could anyone tell us about their experiences with the dinner. Thanks for your help!

I would also like to know your experience at the Luau. I have a PS there. One thing I do know is that they only have it every Saturday, it starts at 6pm. The lady from the reservation told me.

I hope it's just as good as the luau's in Maui! They were awesome and the food...MMMM...GOOD!!

I'm very surprised at the lack of details on the luau at RP. I did do a search for you and found very little. Here are the threads and maybe some others that have actually tried the luau can give their views.

Thanks Jessica for linking those threads. Hmmm...sounds like not much of the Luaus from Maui that we went to. The show goes on non stop and very vibrant. I guess at RP they dance a few dance and sing a few song and try to have some people participate and that's it.

Well...I'll keep my PS and see if they have changed for the better. Hey it could be worse... In Maui, we paid $80 per adult! But then again...it was worth every penny!!

We went to the luau in nove. They moved it inside due to the weather. The food was very good, it's a buffet lots of fresh fish, great roasted pork, salads, kids food and free wine, beer and mai tais. It's $50.00 inclusive for adults. I found it to be very entertaining, the kids loved it. they did get audience paticipation which was very fun. No, it's not like the real ones in Maui. My only thing is I would cancel next time if it got moved inside again, just not the same experience.
