RPH Just Fantastic!!!!

I had a fabulous time from the moment I entered until the moment I left. I feel you really have to be extremely picky {sp?} to criticize it. It truly was worth the money. The landscape alone was phenomenal.

I arrived on 7/21 in the midst of a torrential rainstorm. The valet was quick, polite and extremely helpful. I was escorted in and maybe waited 5 minutes to check in. It was 4:00 pm. While I was waiting I was soaking in the beauty of this hotel. Attention to detail!

When I arrived in the room, I found it beautiful. The woodwork, the view ( I overlooked what seemed to be a golf putt area), the amenities, the lobby, the towels, the ice bucket. Everything is first class.

The best thing is the perk of having the room key and getting the special privledge of practically going to the front of the line. The convenience and time saved by not standing in line with all the regular people is well worth it. I paid $129.00/night. I know many of you have gotten a better rate, but to me this was well worth it.

I did order room service as a treat, however we order mac and cheese and it tasted like grainy and mushy. My dd took one bite and left the rest. callled room service and they accomodated me by sending a pizza instead in record time.

I would whole heartedly recommend this hotel.

ps. my kids loved the pool. really, really fun!!!

Email me for any additional info. I had a great time. I really can't imagine how anyone could bad mouth this hotel. Maybe I just got lucky. I don't think so. It is really beautiful and worth the money.

Where was your room location? How was the pool? There is no slide right? I have 2 DDs, 12 and 9, would they enjoy the pool? If we would get a pool veiw, is it easy access to the pool? Do you know if there are rooms ground level by the pool??? thanks...any other info would be great....corvair amy

I did have a few complaints, but not with the resort itself. I thought it was beautiful and had a great time there also. I would stay there again in a minute especially at the $109 rate I got.

corvair amy--I know you didn't ask me but we were in Tower 1, room 1610 and had an absolutely perfect view. Just walk down the hall, down the elevator and you're just a few feet from the pool. There was no slide but a big white boat with all kinds of water toys -- my 8 y/o loved it and my teenagers were playing there as well...LOL.

Nothing to be worried about, it really is a beautiful resort --just don't use the phone...LOL..I was charged $34 for a 15 min call to NY.
