Royal Room at Riverside or Room at French Quarter?

Help! Son, daughter-in-law, 2 granddaughters (8 & 6 yrs old), husband and I are traveling to WDW the first week in August. Trying to decide between a Royal Room (Standard view) at PO Riverside or a Standard view room at the PO French Quarter. Any thoughts?
