Royal Plaza vs the Swan help choose

Ok, here is the plan, 3rd trip to DW in 3 years, we are doing the
Land and Sea plus adding on a few nights befor the package starts. Package starts Jan 1 so the holiday rates apply to the Disney Hotels which makes them too rich for my blood.

I booked us at the swan for New Years eve at $200. including
tax. Then I thought , maybe go early Dec. 29 or 30 so we could see some of the holiday decorations at Disney. Now three nights at the swan is a little pricy so I found the Royal Plaza that is about $125.00 per night. There are no deals durning that week ,but will we be happy at the Royal Plaza or is the Swan worth the $75.00 a night difference?

We stayed at the swan last year and loved it but I was nervous
about it befor I stayed there too.

It means not switching hotels go for. If have money to afford the extra 75.00 dollars go with what know. But if don't have the extra money try something new for the cheaper price. Then go with the Royal Plaza Hotel. Both have transportation. I don't know if the Royal Plaza Hotel is go as Disney transportation or not but it will only be for night go for it.

I've stayed in both but not in the last 3 years. The Swan is
definitely much nicer. I liked the Royal Plaza because of the
transportation and price. It was just ok, nothing special. I
remember the Swan's transportation to be awkward or slow
at times but again, this was 4 years ago. If I had the $75 or
it wasn't keeping me from doing something else, I'd go for
the Swan because I liked the rooms. RP rooms are basic but if
all you want is a bed and bath-go for it. Have you checked

Thanks for the advise, I read the reviews at trip advisor
and as is often the case they were mixed.

I guess I will check my finances in a few weeks and then choose.
I did love the Swan when we stayed there last year and those
heavenly beds are almost worth $75 a night more!
