Is there any chance of royal pacific to open up one night? When I check online it says sold out. When I go to booking sites it shows availability when I put in 3 nights but when I put in one night it says no availability. Anyone have any experience with this? I just want one night- jan 19th.

Have you tried calling directly? Maybe since it is a long weekend, they are enforcing a minimum stay? But I think your best bet would be to call. 1-888-273-1311

I called-they said no rooms. Her thought was a convention. But other booking sites show rooms but not for only one night.!! I am hoping it opens up as being able to book one night. Will wait and see i guess.

It's weird. I don't know how they work with their bookings, but I plugged in Jan 16-21 on the Universal site and it showed availability at RPR and HRH, so they can't be full! I remember reading another post about a similar problem. I don't know why they would discourage one night stays since apparently you really only need two days to get through both parks. That's just encouraging people to stay offsite :confused3

Do you think I could book 3 nights- then turn around and cancel 2 so I can get saturday night? Is there a cancellation fee? I just dont get it?:confused3

I was told that if you eliminate 1 night from an existing ressie or otherwise change the dates; you don't necessarily get the lower rate & may indeed lose any other special rate "AAA", etc. if not available @ the time of rebooking.

know when i have switched dates in the past they refund the 1st nights' deposit & start process over; even if the same rate-slightly different dates.:confused3

fyi, cancellation is 5 days prior, before 6:00 p.m.

not odd to have a 2 or even 3 night min @ many popular resorts.

1/19/07 is MLK weekend (most schools in our area have a 4 day weekend).
Good luck though.:wizard: Have you tried expedia-usually good for last min ressies.

All booking sites are showing the same thing- not avaliable for one night only more then one night. Holiday wekeend -yuck I hope i can get one night onesight. Thanks for all the help.
