Royal Pacific Info needed

We have decided to stay at the Royal Pacific when we go next year and was hoping people could provide some info on this resort. How are the rooms? The pool? The service? Is it easy to walk to the parks?
We stayed previously at the Hard Rock and we enjoyed the walk to the parks. Plus the boat ride. I don't like to drive while on vacation and actually enjoy taking advantage of staying onsite for this reason plus the front of line access.
Can't wait to go - last time was in 2001. Way too long.

We stayed at the Portofino this past trip and did our laundry at the Royal Pacific. So, having laundry facilities on site would be a plus for me! My children preferred the pool at the Royal Pacific for several reasons including the volleyball net that was up, the ping pong tables, and the ice cream stand. My husband really thought the pool staff was extra attentive as we were there from around 10:30 am to 1:00pm and the staff regularly circulated among the guests offereing cold towels, cups of ice, and ice water. We spent several afternoons (2pm on) at the Portofino pool and that never happened. Perhaps, they also offer ice and cold towels but not while we were there.
