We (myself, DH and two DDs) are considering a trip to London and Disneyland Paris for Spring Break next year, and would like to use our DVC points. I looked at the website for the Royal Garden Hotel, and it appears that the rooms can hold no more than two guests. Has anyone ever stayed at this hotel with kids, and if so, is there the possibility of getting connecting rooms?

Also saw an II trade to the Club Sunterra at Carlton Court. If anyone has any experience with this property, I'd love to hear about it. Thanks!

I used to live across the street from this hotel but I've never stayed there. I can tell you that hotel rooms in Europe are generally smaller than American rooms. When we go back (we live in the US now) we stay in a Marriott on Cromwell Road that's very reasonably priced and very nearby(you may not want t burn the points).

Thanks. I looked at this hotel, and it looks great. Added benefit is that it has a pool!

Both of these hotels are located in the area of London known as South Kensington. It's really more of a residential area so you'll need transportation to get to the popular areas for tourists. The Underground Station near that Marriott (Cromwell Road) is much handier for getting around than the station near the Royal Garden (High Street Kensington). This will all make sense once you're there.

Thanks again. I've stayed in London many times for business, but never in the Kensington area. I'm quite familiar with the Tube, and comfortable using it, so that is not a problem for us.
