Are any of their sales better than the others? seems they are always running something.... will be traveling with 2 adults and 3 kids if it matters. Possibly other families.

For you I’d guess kids sail free would be best. But it’s really a matter of playing around to see what you end up with.

I’ve heard that the best prices are when the cruises are first released, but I’ve never booked that early. We work with a travel agent and she’s always been to rebook us at lower prices as they showed up. The prices increase as the ship fillls.

Agree..if booking under US/CAD Royal Caribbean, its best to book as early as you can and just watch for price drops up to final payment. (I think UK may have different rules and they don't do price drops). If net price goes lower...factoring in any OBC gaining or losing, then call and get the lower price. Note that non-refundable cost will be cheaper but there will be penalties if you cancel. My most further out cruise is Mar 2021 and I've had about 5 price drops and notice that it changes weekly (often yo-yoing between two prices).
If not travelling during school holidays or summer, KSF can be a good deal if kids are 12 or under.
The other advantage of booking early is that you get selection of your stateroom...esp advantageous if you want a connecting room or a few rooms near each other.

The thing too that I like about Royal’s “sales” is that if you do see the price of your cruise goes down and you are before your PIF date you can get a price adjustment. So I check often. Last year there was a legit sale and we saved $1200 off our Grand Suite. This year’s cruise so far I was anble to save a few hundred and gain $200 in OBC.

So i realized that KSF is only on sailings 4 days or longer and we are doing a 3 day as our first tester cruise with our 3 kids (the youngest will be 3 and he is of concern :Do_O) We booked with the current Winter sale that was going on,but we booked through BJ's and got a BJ's card, and on board credit. Hopefully I can still change if my prices go down... i did book REFUNDABLE.

My 2 kids will be 16 yrs old for our cruise, so I couldn't get the KSF deal, but the deal I just got yesterday seemed super good! It is 30% off each person, plus a flash $50 off total, plus a $50 account credit that I'll use towards beverage packages. I have no clue about other sales that Royal runs, but I'm really happy with this one!

quite honestly, the bottom line cost is going to typically be about the same no matter which 'sale' you book under. so pick a price point you are willing to pay and book when that shows up.
