I am so sad to say, it looks like we might have to cancel our cruise
My mil who is 89 , just found out she has a brain aneurysm and they want to operate as soon as possible.
I feel so bad about not being able to give you my FE gifts. I already had them in my suitcase
This will be a very special cruise for many of you 1st timers ! I'll be thinking of you !

We are not going to cancel because we'd lose everything anyway. We booked on DVC points and its too late to cancel. So if there's a way we'll be there but it is very doubtful. Your reply was very sweet and heartfelt !

My Mom was slowly slipping away with a diagnosis of Stage 4 liver cancer.
She told me I had to go and enjoy.
We did. Then I was sad and now, I do not have any regrets.
Sadly, I lost my Mom last September. I know she watches over me all of the time.

I am heartsick to hear this news. Please know that we are lifting you and your family in our prayers.

On a selfish note, I am SO bummed to not be able to meet you and give you a hug. We were going to be neighbors!!

Hi Everyone!
Usually I'm more actively posting when a cruise is coming up, and I'm sad to not be taking part in the FE this time around, but things have been crazy planning the wedding and there just hasn't been the time!

I am getting married on the beach the morning of Castaway Cay. If you see me around that day/night in a white dress please say "hi"!

Newbie question!! In my final packing and questioning myself-

We have a PAT of 12:00 as do the others in our group. We plan to arrive at the port a bit before that, perhaps 11:30. I have read some old threads that say if I get there earlier, like 9:30, I can get an earlier boarding number. I think this is old info and now I get a boarding number based on my PAT no matter when I arrive.

Am I correct? My excitement makes me want to get to the port at sunrise but I want to have a relaxing morning and not rush there if it does no good.

My info is only second hand through this site, but I believe that the port officially opens at 11:00. I have heard that it sometimes opens a little before this. I have also heard that you can arrive earlier, but if the port is too busy, they may make you wait. Lastly, I have heard that boarding order is determined by PATs. I wish I had a definitive answer, but I can only go by what I've heard. I think a 12:00 PAT won't put you too far back in boarding. have a great cruise!

We've already got a couples massage scheduled! Other than that, we are doing a dolphin excursion and a stingray excursion. We've got floats rented on Castaway Cay. I hope there is nothing else we're missing. We filled out our forms online and in the book, we probably don't need both but just in case right?

I HAD to reply to this one!

All day today I've been saying to my son, "one week from now, we'll be ...." He keeps laughing at me. A little while ago, he said, "Mom, you are out of control you are so excited." Then, I laughed!!

I am SOOOO very excited. I still have to work 3 days this week. Not sure I'm going to be terribly productive, that's for sure.

Hope you all have safe travels and fun times with Mickey this week. One week from right now, we'll all be having our lifeboat lesson (it's 4:06 eastern as I type this). Then, it will be off to the sail-away party.
