Well, here we are again. The end of another round is upon us. This matchup is the final match of Round 2. Two majorly super-popular Disney classics have at it to determine the final winner of Round 2.



The Little Mermaid:

I've got to represent The Lion King. This one was difficult, but I'm going with Simba and pals.

I will go with Little Mermaid, mainly cause I have been trying to get my hand on a copy for months now I'd even settle for VHS at this point!!

I know the entire soundtrack to both - such a tough choice! But I think Little Mermaid for me!

This is a great match, but I know without a doubt that I prefer The Lion King. It just has so much more impact overall than The Little Mermaid. It's so much more emotional and emotionally satisfying.

Wow! Tough match-up. I picked Little Mermaid just because I was obsessed with it growing up, but if it was against any other movie, Lion King would win. That's probably my number two!

To be honest, there are very few Disney films I would pick over The Lion King, but Little Mermaid wouldn't be one of them. I actually just watched it here not to long ago and was surprised to find that I didn't really like it all that much.


On the other hand, the pic the OP used for Little Mermaid would make one hell of a picture to put atop a cake! Every time I see it, I think "CAKE!!!"

As much as I love the Lion King, I can't escape the strength of memories related to TLM. The beginning of the return of great Disney animation.
