Round 2, Match 6: The Princess and the Frog vs Beauty and the Beast

Two timeless stories as told by Disney. One is an established classic. The other is a modern treasure. Both are about the struggles of overcoming outer perceptions and finding the truth within.


The Princess and the Frog:

When I first heard about princess and the frog, I thought, it's about time Disney turned that classic story into a movie. Overall, it wasn't bad. But in reality, this is a no contest. Beauty and the Beast wins easily.

I feel bad for poor TPATF. I really liked that movie a lot--far more than Tangled--but there's no way I can vote for it over Beauty and the Beast.

I loved the Princess and the Frog...but I love Beauty and the Beast more. It's one of my all-time favorites!

On a side note, this is the first time I've had a problem with "hotlinking." I'll try to find yet another picture that will work, but I don't understand what the problem is.



FYI..... Beauty and the Beast was SOOOO close to winning an oscar. Silence of the Lambs stole it though.

Beauty and the Beast WAY outshines Princess and the Frog. While I do like Tiana and and the gang, the movie doesn't compare to the other.
