RoTR, Boarding Groups and LL

Don't think I've seen this asked or answered yet.
If I get a 7 am Boarding group for RoTR, can I get a LL pass later in the day? Or the opposite?
A new way to ride a once a day ride twice?

No official confirmation, but yes, this would be a legit way to ride RotR multiple times in a day.

Not sure if they will let that happen. They already said you can't buy a LL twice for the same ride in 1day.

We don't know the official answer to this but I would guess no, you cannot ride it twice. Due to the popularity of the ride I would anticipate them having a system in place that would stop riders from riding it twice the same day. But again, nothing official has been announced at this time.

I don't think that actually does address the question of getting one free VQ for RotR and also one paid LL for it. It just says you can't get two paid LL for it.

My guess is it won't work, because the system will only let you get a VQ or a LL for RotR and not both, but this tweet doesn't say that.

Do we even know for sure that ROTR will be eligible for Lightning Lane purchases? The other possibility is that it would ONLY be available with Lightning Lane, though I sincerely hope (and doubt) that would be the case because you'd basically have to pay to ride it.

Good question, maybe it might be possible because I can't seen them turning down that money.

I don't think they'd be turning down money if they don't allow 2 rides, there will be plenty of people willing to pay to ride after getting locked out of a free chance. I would think/hope that they would only allow one ride per day on VQ attractions so more people have an opportunity.
