I don't understand this comment. What do you expect her to do, go on and on about how ugly DT is. Say how she's going to send someone to steal Melania away from him? She took the high road by ending this (ok so she probably shouldn't have started it to begin with) there's no reason to keep this feud going.

I use to watch the View, but haven't in a long time. Starr started irritating me with the wedding thing and haven't watched it much since. I don't like loud mouths, and people who rant. I don't watch shows like that, but know they are rating bonanzas.

Maybe if Barbara gets rid of Elisabeth and Joy and hires Maury Povitch and Jerry Springer, the ratings would probably go through the roof.
Jerry can dance to all the show tunes Rosie knows while Maury can do DNA tests on her adopted kids and see if either Clay Aikens or Donald Trump is their biological father.

Now wouldn't that be a show to boost the ratings.

I have stopped watching the View because of her. She is obnoxious! Ellen is on at the same time here and I enjoy her show so much more!!!

I'm with you. Ellen is so much nicer and more entertaining than Rosie . I have never liked Rosie though..too loud and obnoxious for me.

Actually, she did. She had no rebuttal other than a face and saying that she brought her SO with her. Seems to me that she handled it very well.

The show's gotta be loving this attention they are getting.

I have not really seen enough of ROSIE to form an opinion either way.

But Since I see her name on the news and on the DIS...
IMO she is not in danger of losing her job anytime soon, and I dont understand persons are upset that these ladies actually express their VIEWS on a show called the VIEW.

its not funny if he didn't want to be outed. he was obnoxious to kelly ripa but he didn't deserve to have his privacy violated.

That was my original point. If anyone should "out" Clay (yes, I don't live under a rock! I, too, knew he was gay from day one!) it should be Clay and not some big mouth trying to make a stand for all gay people in America. I'm not gay, but if I were I would not want her representing me!
Yes, it is a talk show and yes, everyone is entitled to their opinion, just as we are here on the DIS, but I feel that the View has lost its touch of class since Merideth left. No one else can speak with her there. Elisabeth has turned into a little mouse who is obviously afraid of her. I don't think they all bond together well like they used to. It's too bad that one person has made that big of a difference.
Just my opinion!
