OK let me start this by saying that I was NOT a fan of Rosie back when she had her on show and never tuned in but I got caught up in the fan fare with the new sesaon of The View and TIVOd an episode. Guess what - I loved her on The View! I thought she did a good job of being over the top but reigning it in when necessary. So am I the only one who's found myself liking her? I find this astonishing. I put The View on Season Pass so I guess they have me hooked.

I too agree with you. I am not a big fan of hers or her political views. But I saw her on the view the other day and I thought she did a great job. Especially when she was interviewing the Big brother contestants. :rotfl2: I too had stopped watching the view awhile ago because I could not stand it anymore. But I think I will start watching it again.

I used to like her, but I've watched her on the View twice now and I don't think I will tune in again. She is just way too pushy with her opinion...like nobody else's opinions count. I agree everyone is entitled to express how they feel, I just wish she realised that hers isnt the only opinion that matters. She also seems to talk over everyone and it just gets to noisy to hear what everyone is trying to say.

They all talk over each other. I have been paying attention to see if I thought she was hogging the time, but I don't think she is. I mean Barbara went on about her talking dog, Joy gets in her jokes (and she is funny), Elisabeth is quieter, but I think that is also her personality. Rosie is also the moderator so she is going to talk more.

I am also one who did not watch before, but have tuned in since Rosie came on. I really enjoy the show now and will keep watching.

I'm really liking it too. I don't agree w/ her on some issues but I think she's funny. She's also toned it down a little since the first show. I'm watching more now than ever. I guess Barbara knows what she's doing.

I liked her show before and I started watching the View because of her. I think Rosie is absolutely hysterical! She does get a little loud sometimes, but they all do. That's what happens when you have 4 women on a talk show--everyone wants to talk.

Did you see the segment (I think it was Thursday) with the 5 things every mom needs to know? The woman had all these things you "needed" in order to be a "good" mom. Rosie had me :rotfl2: through the entire segment. When she told Elizabeth "Yeah you would do that because you only have one child" :happytv:

What about Friday's show when she was talking about Parker complaining how bad his life was. She asked Parker name one thing that's bad about your life and he said I've never been in a submarine. Her response was a riot! You can tell she's a down to earth mom who's not raising spoiled brats.

I watched The View for years and then had to stop due to an illness called Hasselbeck Jones. I was so glad The View got Rosie to come on to take Meredith's place as moderator, it will finally present another view than that of Hasselbeck/Jones know it alls. :thumbsup2

:rotfl2: Ok, I can understand Star, but you don't like Elizabeth? She doesn't seem to talk much at all. I don't particularly care for her, but she doesn't bother me because a lot of the time she doesn't even seem to be there. Is she more understated this season (I never really watched before)?

Beth that is so funny because that's the segment I was thinking of when I typed this  I loved how she said that the kids would be crying because the saran wrap was green and they wanted blue :rotfl2: I loved her expression at the theme day - like green day - I thought that woman was a little over the top considering it was supposed to be things every mother needs to know. I think most moms could go their who lives with never having a theme day for the kid's lunches and still have well adjusted kids :teeth:

Yes I was thinking of that segment also. Color coded lunches? Who has the time? LOL!

I missed most of the View on Friday because it was preempted here. :(

Me too Jen - I only saw the first 15 minutes or so. I hate when they do that!

Oh yeah, heck, I figure that's why they hired Rosie was to tone down KnowItAll Hasselbeck. Back in the Star Jones days, Hasselbeck was always right, just ask Star :lmao: The show is gonna be great now that it's a li'l more balanced. That is if they don't replace Star with Ann Coulter :lmao:

We are obviously bad mothers who don't love our kids. We give our kids boring, uncreative lunches with smooshed sandwiches. I even make my Kindergartener buy his lunch *the horror* :rotfl2:

Oh crud! Are ya supposed to give you kid lunch??? :confused3 :guilty:

I don't watch The View - but I did hop over to YouTube.com to catch the tape of Rosie giving Boogie from BB7 heck!! :rotfl2:

DD is picky. I don't know if I could find enough green items to make a lunch that she would eat. LOL!

Boogie totally deserved it. I think if you watched BB at all (especially the live feeds) you wouldn't think otherwise. Elisabeth was just trying to be PC.

Jenn,
Oh, I agree! Boogie got what he deserved. (I sooo loved watching him squirm as Rosie was ripping him a new butt hole! :lmao: )

I didn't subscribe to the live feeds, but I visit several websites that post updates from the feeds. I was not thrilled at all with either Boogie or Erika's behavior. But Boogie's comments really crossed the line. :sad2:

Okay, someone please help me now.
Is this the effect of spending too much time on these boards or what?!!
I coulda sworn this thread was locked last night.
