Rosen Lake Buena Vista no longer a Clarion/Choice Hotel

I'm really sad about this as it's a great hotel, at a value price, in a great location and was a great place to rack up Choice Hotel points. And now I won't be able to stay here anymore.

Cause points give you free nights at 5 star hotels in Europe and Asia. It also give you upgraded status which means early check ins and upgraded rooms. For example the other day, I was able to check in at 9 am in the morning, eat the free breakfast (normally would be a buffet), get an upgrade suite room and didn't have to check out till 2 pm the next day with another free breakfast.

You CAN stay there....you just choose not to. There is a difference. Your statement implies "choice hotel members" are no longer welcomed. Rosen company may partner with another group. I wouldn't be surprised if they partner with Wyndham in the near future. I was shocked when La Quinta, Ramada, Days Inn and even Super 8 went under the Wyndham umbrella.
