Rosen inn at pointe

I am looking at booking the Rosen Inn at Pointe for my honeymoon next year and I am seeking some feed back from anyone who has stayed their.
Also I would like feed back on the location of the hotel and the travel between the parks.

Just had 3 wks there, at mco now :-( fab location I trolley and lynx stop right outside hotel lots to do and see there too. Clean and friendly hotel !!!

Thanks for the reply it looks like the lynx buses are the best way to get to WDW.

Also did you try the breakfast in the hotel? Was it any good or value for money or would eating out be better?

I had this hotel booked earlier this year, but ended up cancelling. One big reason is that they could not guarantee me a King sized bed. Someone at Rosen Pointe told me they have a very, very limited amount of King sized rooms (13 out of 1000 or something like that). I even offered to pay extra but they wouldn't do it.

Just a heads up since you are going on your honeymoon

Lynx 42 then 111 change at bus station or num 8 then 50, change at sea world will both get u to ticket and transportation centre. Sometimes we got off at down town Disney and took contemporary resort bus and did 5 min walk to mk from resort! Easy. On lynx ask for transfer ticket and it's 2 dollars each way per adult 1 dollar for kids. 0n late nights we used king solomons shuttle Paul is a great honest guy who will always turn up. He charges about 12 dollars per peron for a shuttle back to hotels on I drive .


Food wise lots of choice there is hotel buffet which looked popular or there is sizzlers etc across the roads there is fridge and microwave in room . We used Walgreens across the road or we ate brunch when out. As we like to be at rope drop ;-)

Just arriving at my UK home now so will answer any more question quicker and better on laptop . First a big sleep !!!

That's brill thanks, didn't realise there were 2 options thought it was bus to seaworld and another to ttc

Think we will try the hotels buffet but have a mooch around don't want to be in the hotel all the time I will do a bit of exploring

How do you book king solomans? We were going to do a few late nights fireworks, fantasmic, city walk etc

No kettle!?! Need a good cuppa in the morning lol I'll have to take my mini travel one

And Jenny not too fussed on the size of the bed as long as there is one lol I don't plan on spending much time in bed plenty of time to sleep and .... Etc at home hehe

Ok a sleep has been had...

Paul, Kiing Solomons number is 407 709 6822 The hotel blocks his number sometimes as he takes the hotel town and country black taxis business. I used my mobile or go over to millers ale house over the road and call him. He will talk through the times etc.

There is a hot drinks station as the small mini market in the hotel... cant remember how much coffee or tea was about $2.49 ? There is a coffee pot in hotelm room for filter coffee. I use to go to Walmart across the street and buy ice coffee (LUSH )

I would ask for block A or B as they are close to the pool lobby shop and bus stop.

The helicopter place next door does fab rides and would be a fab different thing to do on a honeymoon. We did this and the CSI and Titanic experience and loved them ALL !

As for buses, go to the lynx website and download the timetables..... they come about every 30 mins... so with 2 buses to choose from about every 15 mins.. we got on what ever came first!
