Do I need an ADR if I want to sit at the bar and just order from the pub menu?

Thanks!

I had this same question and the response I got from several people was that you can sit in the bar area without and ADR. However, you cannot sit at the bar itself because there are no chairs around the bar. There are several small tables in the bar area, kind of like at Red Lobster or Chilis, where you can seat yourself. However, from what I read, there are not that many tables in the bar area. So if you depend on this for dinner, you may not get a table and not be able to eat.

Hope this helps. I decided to wing it, and if I get a table then GREAT!! If not, I can eat at the fish and chips place if it is open, or hope for walk up table.

It wouldn't hurt to call them and ask. I myself have eaten there many times with no ADR though. The Rose & Crown is always our first stop in WDW gotta have a strongbow asap.

The pub doesn't accept ADRs and has a very limited menu. The restaurant does take ADRs and are often necessary. I would not try to eat dinner or a 'normal' lunch time without one. However, on our Oct trip, we're hoping to try the pub grub for a change.

1) The bar is a stand-up, like many pubs.
2) There are four tables along the windows.
3) There are three stand-up tables along another wall.
4) No ADR's are taken for any places on the bar.
5) Tables and stand-ups are all first-come-first-served.
6) And sometimes, there is a ling wait.
7) People, like me, like to linger at the tables with beer and munchies.

From anyone who may know, can you order a drink at the bar and take it out with you? TIA

Absolutely. If they don't as if it's togo, just let them know as you will get your drink in a big plastic cup rather than the pint glass.

Although we miss our Lynda, we still enjoy spending a few hours hanging out at the bar drinking, chatting with the CMs and people watching.

You can't take the drinks out of the park at the International Gateway! They stop a lot of people doing that on their way back to their Epcot Resorts!

True - I've chugged a drink or two due to that rule. However, I thought the pp wanted to take her drink out of the pub and into the rest of Epcot, which is absolutely ok.

Yes, that is what I meant. Sorry about the ambiguity of my question. :goodvibes
