Had a late launch at the Rose and Crown ( 3:40 pm ). We got their at 3:30 and checked in and received our pager. Was finally sat at 3:55 pm. Was not bad as the pager worked anywhere in the UK Pavilion. Their was a lot going on to keep us occupied and we did not notice the time.
I ordered the Cheese and Fruit plate and was extremely please with the appearance and quality of the food. I followed that up with the Fillet of Beef. I t was cooked as I asked ( medium well ). The portions were large and I decided to pass on the desert as I had no place to keep.
Only down side was the time it took to get or order taken and then for the courses to arrive. Spent 1.5 hours total from sitting down to standing up.
