We always eat the fish n chips from the quick service window in the English pavilion, sit on the street corner and eat. This time we decided to try and do the Rose and crown Dinning room. We had 7:50 ADR on Thursday June 2. We were seated at 8:00pm. Me, wife, daughters 4 and 10. We were seated inside.
3 of us had the fish n chips, daughter 4 had a kids meal. not chicken, but forgot what it was.
The fish n chips were the exact same thing one gets from the quick service window, but 2x the cost. My wife had a mixed green salad, which was very good, and i had a lemon pie for desert. the pie was very good, but a smallish portion. 1 glass of wine, and 2 beers. Total bill was $110 including the tip.
At 8:55, our server walked us down to the patio for illuminations. It was a small roped off area we shared with 10 other families. After the show we went back in for the desert and to pay our bill. We left around 9:35 and walked to the beach club where we were staying.
It was nice to eat there one time, but we will not go back. If the fish n chips is you goal, just get it from the counter outside and save a lot of money.
