Flight arrives on Tuesday at 3 PM
Magic Express Bus to Caribbean Beach Resort
Check in
Disney Springs for Dinner

Wednesday -- HOLLYWOOD STUDIOS
Try and get ROTR
Take first SKYLINER over to HS.
Rope drop

Is that possible to get there in time to rope drop HS via Skyliner?
Which rides should we go for first if we rope drop?

Thursday -- Epcot
Skyliner to Epcot
Possible to get to rope drop Epcot via Skyliner transportation?
Which rides should we go for first if we rope drop?

Friday -- MK
First bus to MK for rope drop.

Possible to get to rope drop MK via bus?
Which rides should we go for if we rope drop?

Saturday - Check-out
9 AM - Limo pick up and taking us to Port Canaveral Cruise Terminal.

Thank you for any suggestions. Thank you.

Best thing you can do is Uber to the Speedway gas station, get dropped off and walk to HS. We were like one of the first twenty in the park this past January due to this. (for your HS day)

The current recommendation is to be in line for the SL about 90 minutes before the published park opening. For example; if HS is scheduled to open at 9AM, be in line for the SL at 7:30ish, they officially start running at 8AM, but often begin at 7:50/7:55ish. This should get you to the CBR station which will start at 8AM and enable you to get the park gates for the unofficial park opening, which can be up to 45 min before published opening. The same strategy works for Ep as well, although you will most likely run into a longer line at CBR, but it will move quick. It also works the same for the busses as well. Be in line 90 minutes before posted MK opening will get you to the park in time for the 45ish minute early opening.

The Skyliner is that bad? Ugh! One of the main reasons we booked CBR. Thank you.

Great. Thank you.

Thanks. We will have a baby so I don't think that will work for us at all. My wife would be making my day a living hell. lol

The Skyliner is not all that at park opening and closing. Its baddddd.
That sucks. We are going to look at other resorts then. We will have three kids (one being an infant) so thought that was going to be easiest after talking with some DVC owners that we are friends with. Boardwalk and Beach Club were booked.

Obviously, everyone's experiences are going to be different. We used the SL using the strategy I posted above 5 times (2 times to HS, 3 times to EP) for our last trip. We made it before park opening every single time. All but one time we were within the first 10-12 groups waiting for temp checks to open. The one time at HS we were about the 50th group back waiting for temp check to open. However, we were still in the park on and off MMRR before attempting a ROtR BG when it was at official park opening. As always YMMV.

We also had no trouble using the Skyliner. We used it for 2 HS days and one Epcot day over spring break. When we were actually trying to RD at HS, we got in line at 7:30 at Pop Century. We were at HS by 8:00 for a 9:00 opening. The lines might look long, but they move pretty quickly. We never waited more than 25-30 minutes during opening or closing for either park. I think it is a great addition to the resorts, and can’t wait to use the Skyliner again!

We also had a good experience with buses to MK. They were plentiful during RD times, at least at Pop. We never felt the need to pay extra to get ride from a car service. You just need to be there early, if you want rope drop.

Any recommendations on getting to Epcot for unofficial rope drop from Riviera? We have 8:30 breakfast reservations at Topolino's on our Epcot day, is that going to be too late for the skyliner?
