I decided to FP Frozen just because we have never done the ride and the line always seems soooo long. Would you recommend rope dropping Test Track or soarin? We would try to make it over to the other one right after. It is me, my husband, and our 5 year old so single rider is not an option for us.

My vote would be rope drop TT, then go over to Soarin’. Soarin’ wait times build slower with the third room. TT always seems to build right away in my experience.

Beware, I’ve been caught with a delayed TT opening at rope drop more than once - that ride sometimes doesn’t want to wake up. ;-) Chances are you’ll be fine, but just keep an open mind.

Good luck!

We tried the test track rope drop on our last trip and it did not go well. The ride was down for the first hour as we waited in line and lost that precious time. I will never wrote drop test track again for this reason.

I've also had bad experiences trying to RD TT. We decided it is the most prone to am issues, so it is our FP for our trip. We are RD Frozen and may or may not do Soarin'. (Not of fan of new Soarin and its distortion.)

My daughter and I rope drop Soarin and ride it twice before the TT crowd gets there. Then we do LWTL twice before the Soarin crowd (or others) gets there. We then do TT single rider or spaceship Earth depending on wait times. It all depends on what you like. Hope you have a wonderful trip!

I'm in the minority camp here. I'd RD Soarin if you don't mind single riding TT. In the mornings, the single rider line is relatively short for a good portion of the time.

My kids RD TT on their December visit. As so many have posted, it was down. They waited one hour and it never came up, no one was given any FPs. So that is a real possibility.

In theory, I would RD TT and then do Soarin, but you never know.

Definitely get the FP for FEA. That line is soooo slowwww.

I had the same question. The Unofficial Guide's Touring Plans say to do Soarin first and then go to Test Track. However, after watching the crowd levels on MDE, I think it is probably better to do TT first as TT usually has longer lines and they build up quickly. Get TT done at rope drop and you'll have a small line at Soarin. I'm doing this in just 4 weeks.
