Rooms at CBR

We will be staying at CBR next month and I have made no room requests other than non-smoking. I am planning to see what they give me at check-in, but would like to know which bldgs/rooms to avoid and which bldgs/rooms are really nice. Do the corner rooms have 2 windows? I would appreciate any info from those who have been there recently.

All buildings are identical, except for the exterior color. The difference is in how far they are from the main pool and the food court. The two closest are Martinique and Trinidad North, which are preferred buildings and cost $10 or $15 more per night. Trinidad South is the farthest away and is quite a hike to the main pool or food court. Each "island" has its own quiet pool and bus stop.

Yes, corner rooms have two windows.

CBR is a great resort! We'll be back in June!

Just got back from CBR. We also didn't make any specific room requests except non-smoking.

I initially asked for Jamaica 45, but it wasn't available until the next day and I didn't feel like switching. I asked for anything but Trinidad South. I also thought I might like Auba 51, but that building is smoking.

What we got was Barbados 15 room 1508. Ground floor, corner room. Great!!!! Nothing beats ground floor. Yes, corner rooms have 2 windows. Our room was a courtyard view. If we turned to the right we were headed straight for the lake and if we turned to the left we were heading toward the parking lot. We could see our rental car from this angle. Easy to get stuff into the room. We were a short walk from OPR, just about 5 minutes. A nice walk but not too long. We didn't find it a hassle at all. We were the building right next to the Martinique building 21.

We wouldn't hesitate to request Barbados 15 ground floor again. Great location.
