rooms at AKL

We have reservations for a poolview room at AKL in December. Anybody have any suggestions as far as requesting a specific room/wing? Thanks!!

Hi! Request Zebra Trail. That way, as you're walking down the hallway toward the Lobby you will pass viewing areas onto the Arusha Savanna. It will be an added plus Pool view at AKL should be very beautiful b/c the pool area is just gorgeous You will LOVE it!!

We had a room on the 3rd floor looking over the pool area it was great. The 3rd Floor is great because that is essentially the same floor as the lobby, which makes it quite convenient..
It was located above Mara (the food court).

I agree with the previous posters. We had 3rd floor Zebra Trail and we loved the location. We were a short walk from the lobby (no need for using elevators when going to/from the bus stop), there are a lot of windows from which to view animals in the hall, and the pool view is very nice.

If I stay there again, I will request that area.

I hope you don't mind me jumping on your post, but now I'm confused and have a question (I seem to be confused a lot these days). We have a standard savanna room and I was told by the great people on these boards to request a room on the arusha savanna, zebra trail. Not knowing the layout of the resort, is it possible to have either a pool view or savannah view on the zebra trail?

I had a pool view On the 5th floor room 5410 its was a great view! and on the Zebra trail too. up above Boma, the smell was heavenly.

Zebra trail has Savannah rooms and pool view rooms (depending on what side of the hall you're on).
