Room vs Pkg / Disney Visa

Not sure if this is the right location for this thread. Anyway, I have a few questions and I have never booked a room only.
Trying to accomplish 2 things, improving cancellation window and keeping Disney Visa promotion.
If I book a room only and a few days before arrival I add tickets does it automatically become a package? Do they have
to re-book the res and you may not get the room you booked?
If you can add tickets to the res does it qualify for the Disney Visa 0% 6 mo promo?
What about magical express, is that available with room only res?

First - only a "package" qualifies for a Disney Visa financing.
1+2. No, it does not automatically become a package. It remains a room-only and tickets are purchased separately, unless you ask them to change to a package which is an official change in their system as a cancel/rebook and subject to current availability in the package system.
3. No, a room-only reservation does not qualify for the Disney Visa financing, neither does a ticket purchcase.
4. Magical Express is available to anyone with a resort reservation.

A package has a whole different deposit and cancellation policy so you'd have to cancel and re-book it.

In order for you to receive the 0% for 6 month Disney Visa promotion, it has to be a package booking and I believe that's triggered/evidenced by the $200 deposit that's required with a package booking.
