I just booked four nights in a MK view room at the CR, where I've stayed several times over the years. I was very close to booking a studio at BLT, since the rate was slightly lower and the rooms look totally cool. I opted for the CR room because of concerns about size. From what I've read, the BLT studios are not nearly as large as the CR standard rooms, but I'd like any feedback/comparison that anyone is willing to give! Thanks for the help!

I believe a CR standard room is 422 sq. ft. A studio at BLT is 339 sq. ft. We haven't stayed at either of them so I can't give you real life advice, just numbers.

I've stayed in a CR MK view room and it was very spacious. I've been in the BLT studio and it is small. You did the right thing if you wanted a larger room by booking the CR instead.

The CR room is a very nice size; we've stayed there several times. It is quite comfortable. The BLT studio is small IMHO; for 2 adults and an infant or toddler I think it would be okay. We stayed there for 2 nights (2 adults, 2 teens) and there was not a lot of room to move around.

I'd never book a studio over a standard hotel room. For the real beds, for the space. The microwave isn't worth those.

Having stayed in both the CR-MK view standard room and a BLT studio I would say that you have more living area in the CR room. I like the studio layout for the 2 of us. I am happy with only 1 bed (although both rooms have a couch). I also like having the kitchenette. I would however not stay in a studio with more than the 2 of us unless it was a baby staying in the pack and play.

Thanks for your advice; I'm thinking the same thing. Having stayed at the CR in both the tower and the garden wing, I know that those rooms are among the largest on property. The price difference for a MK view studio in BLT is minimal, and I don't think it will be worth the reduced space, extra hike to the CR, etc.
