Room Service Grand Floridian Resumed?

I have read elsewhere that the Grand Floridian is offering room service again. Can anyone update whether this is true? If so, what was on the menu? We are staying in the villas- will they do room service for the villas too?

Yes, GF is one of the resorts offering in room/private dining (the only other resort is BCV/YC). Yes, you can order when staying in the villas.

Will look in my files to see if I have the menu.

BTW, if you order, I would recommend building in some extra time for delivery if it’s during peak times. We ordered breakfast twice and dinner once, the breakfasts were a little on the slow side. I probably would have given the same advice pre COVID as well, just seems all resort dining options can run a little slow given the lack of other dining options around property and you don’t want to push timing if you have somewhere you eventually need to be. Same advice applies to mobile ordering at Gaspys too.

On a very recent Disney World survey one question queried about food delivery from Disney restaurants to your resort room, including restaurants in the parks. That would be a nice addition if kept affordable... call it Disney Eats!

I think a $10-15 delivery fee would be OK if they charged the same (regular) price as in-park restaurants. Since most of those delivery services increase the price on the restaurant items and then charge a delivery fee on top of it! Oh, and if they could get it from multiple restaurants at one fee
