Room Service at WL

Has anyone ever ordered room service at the WL?

I just wondered how exactly this is done. I am considering a breakfast order.

How long does it usually take to fill an order? Do you place the order that morning or the night before?

I do know about the 18% charge plus tax plus $3.00 charge but I think my kids would really enjoy such a special treat.

pennyplanner, we ordered room service a few times at WL last year and although it was a bit on the expensive side it was terrific. We did get breakfast one morning and we called down in the morning. There is a card in your room with menu and phone number. We ordered four different breakfast entrees' and they were at our door in about twenty minutes. It was hot and delicious. They even had a few goodies on the tray that we didn't order. It was very nice. I'm sure your family would enjoy it. We ate ours out on the balcony. Wonderful experience.

We did room service for breakfast three times on our last trip. OK I'm spoiled!!. We called in the order in the morning once everyone was up and it was there very fast(20 minutes was the longest wait!!) Great breakfasts and the cost wasn't really that bad considering what you get. Enjoy,your on vacation.

Like others have said, room service delivery is fast at WL. We ordered a pizza one evening and it arrived very hot. While room service is somewhat expensive (but then, what's inexpensive at Disney (!?!), it is a fun treat. Next time we are at WL, I plan to try a sunrise breakfast on the balcony. Sounds terrific!!
