Room service at GF

I have never done room service before. Do they just charge your room and you give a cash tip?
Does it usually take a long time?

I paid for room service at the time I placed my order and included the tip at the same time. We used room service twice during our stay in September. The first time it was fantastic! The food was hot and very fresh. The second time not so much. I think delivery times vary but we tried to order at non-traditional dinner hours and did not wait more than 30-45 minutes each time. Enjoy!

When I've used room service, they usually charge it to your room, and you just tip the person who delivers it in cash. I’ve found it usually takes about 30-45 minutes, but it can vary depending on how busy they are. It’s always nice if they give you an estimated delivery time when you order so you’re not left guessing.

Just to add to the great information from the other posters. Private Dining (room service) is available 7 AM - 12 PM - Breakfast, and 5 PM - 11 PM Dinner.

You asked about payment so please be aware that your bill will include a 18% gratuity, applicable sales tax and $3.00 (may increase) delivery charge will be added to all private dinning orders.

You could simply sign the check including a gratuity if you preferred pre-pandemic. Hopefully that is still true.

We just had RS 11/05/24. The tip is included but dh is old fashioned and still gave a small tip to the delivery man .

We hadn’t had RS in a while and I forgot how fun it is. Also we had no issues ordering kids meals for adults.

We were not too far from the pool bar and since it was 730p when we placed the order and I knew pool bar was open to 8P I ran out and grabbed a wine and a cocktail for dh and I. I just sipped on my wine while we waited for dinner to arrive.

It took about 30 mins to arrive and food was hot.
