Room #s for quiet rooms at WL??

We are off to WL in early October for three nights. I am a light sleeper and heave heard that some rooms with pool balconies and some over the Whispering Canyon restaurant are loud. We got a woods view room as that was what was left-- which wing, room etc would you request for the most quiet? thanks so much in advance!

Try the North Wing near the Otter Pond. We've been to WL, courtyard, and didn't think it was noisy. However, we heard the Otter Pond area is very peaceful and quiet. If you ask for a higher room, you might even get a glimpse of the Castle and fireworks. Plus these rooms are near the boat launch and closer to Roaring Forks.

Edit--These North Wing rooms, reportedly, have castle views: 6012/5012 and 6032/5032.

I second that... Ask for North Wing, Otter Pool view, on the end of wing (less foot traffic outside your door). It's a bit longer walk from the elevators, but it'll be as quiet as you can get.
