Room requests

If you booked your vacation thru a TA/AAA can you call Disney directly and add a room request (yes - I know nothing is guaranteed!) I asked my AAA agent to put a request in for Tokelau or Samoa. When I asked her today if she did I had the feeling that she might have forgotten. Plus she had Tokelau written down as Pokelau

So can I call myself and add the request or am I just going to have to take my chances?
