Room Requests

Hi, I own at AKL. In the past, we were able to request a room view (like for Zebra Trail) during online check in. However, when I did the online check in, you couldn't request anything like that. Does anyone know of any tips to get this request in? Thanks!

I always put our requests in with MS. You can call or email them.

I always call the Member Services number to add my requests, well in advance

If you add your request through MS, skip the online check-in screens that ask about requests. If you use those screens at all, they will override the requests you give to MS.

Online check in was not designed with DVC in mind. Often the choices make no sense for DVC - they are for cash reservations.

We always call MS. There's something to be said for talking to a person and it usually works for us.

you can request through chat too. its always been faster than a call for us.

I email through "contact us" on the member website. I think having it in writing is easier, they can copy/paste.

Agree. Plus you get an email back confirming that they added your request.
