I had requested a certain building, first floor room, non-smoking, trundle bed (since we are a family of five plus an infant).

Anyways our official confirmation letter only had the requests for non-smoking and trundle bed on it.

Should our other requests have been noted on the confirmation letter?

Is the non-smoking for a medical reason?

If so, I believe that's why those were on there.

Non-smoking - medical
Trundle - family of 5

A guess - anyone know for sure?

Just a standard non-smoking request.

I know that requests are just 'requests'. I just want to be sure we have all of our requests. :)

On my confirmation letter it only lists: standard view

But when I called to make a change, I asked if my requests were still listed on the computer and she read them back to me just as I'd requested.

as stated by Safetymom they are noted in your reservation and will be downloaded into the Resort computer with your reservation.

However they are "only" requests, and never guaranteed.

I suppose there is some limit on the number of requests that can be stored; I wonder what happens when that limit is exceeded.

Notes on ressie confirmation:

1) Rooms for medical reasons.
2) Special accommodation issues (eg. trundle bed)
3) Views for which you pay extra (eg. standard, preferred, tower)

That's about it.
