Room Requests Advice Please

How soon can we make room requests and what are the common requests made? We are staying at the Wilderness Lodge for Christmas. Is there something we should consider? Thank you!

You can make room requests at any time. Just call reservations and have them add your requests to your reservation. Prioritize your requests. They can't grant everything.

I made our special requests when I made our ressies. I have called back THREE times to modify our special requests. Yeah. I'm indecisive and PICKY!!!! No, I just want a view of the Magic Kingdom (from the GF) and I'm willing to give up my first born to get it. Plus, I LOVE the people at CRO...they are so nice and make me more excited about going to WDW...I think I will start calling them just to talk...Allrightie then...off subject (been Christmas decorating all day - I'm delirious!!)


Read up on the resort to find out what kind of special requests you might want, then call CRO and ask NICELY (remember, these people are my friends now!) and they will be happy to note them on your ressies. Just to be safe, call CRO back a week or so before you go to make sure they got your requests correct.

If you have a Courtyard view, ask to not be on the sixth floor. The balconies are solid, and you can't see out without standing up. We had a fourth floor Courtyard view in October, and loved it.
If you have a standard view, ask to be away from Whispering Canyon. The noise levels are incredible there, tho I know everyone's just having a good time. Plus, the balconies in that area overlook a service road, with truck traffic. My son and his fiancee were not impressed when they stayed there in May.
