When we request our room request, how specific should we be? Can we ask for a specific building, no parking lot view, 2nd floor, two double beds?...Or is that too much?
Thanks.

You can put in as many requests as you like but the more requests the more you eliminate the options for your primary request.

For example, if you really want a no-smoking non-parking lot view room but you also toss in that you want Building X they may assume Building X is your primary request and put you in a smoking room with a parking lot view in that building. That's an extreme case and I believe they usually satisfy smoking/non-smoking requests but it was an example to give you an idea. If you limit requests to what's really important you are more likely to get something that makes you happy.
