I'll be stayng at the yacht Club and about a month ago I called Disney to make some requests for my room.I knew specifically what room I wanted so I gave the nomber of the room I preferred and some other room number that would be ok too. The CM then wrote everything and then even repeated all my requests
Lat week I called Disney again to confirm my ADRs and my requests and the CM said that there was nothing in the system saying that I had such request and that it was impossible for him to to put a request specifying the room number.

Does anyone know anything about this:confused3
Is it possible to make such specific requests:confused:

The more specific you are the less likely you are to get what you want. If you put in an area they gives them more to work with. They will not guarantee any room requests.

I agree with safetymom. Make a request for a specific area. By only requesting room numbers, you are setting yourself up to be majorly disappointed.

As for the confirmation call, maybe the CM you spoke to can only check on ADRs.

Requesting specific room numbers is just a setup to be disappointed. The likelihood that they can meet that request is miniscule.
What you should do is make a general request for an area or an amenitity that is important to you i. e. Near Pool, Higher Floor, Near Elevator, Overlooking ______.
In this manner they have a sense of what is important to you and they can try to find you a room in that area.
