Room request

I'm about to call and make our first request for a 1 bedroom with preferred viewed at BWV. I read that there are long walks to the elevators from your rooms. Can anyone tell me what area to request that will be close to the pool area but with the view of the boardwalk that don't have long walk to the elevator. This is our first stay as new members and want it to be great.

I think what you are asking is impossible. The elevators are back from the Boardwalk (off the lobby). You have to walk down the hallway to get to the rooms with a Boardwalk view. There are some rooms along the courtyard (partial BW view) that aren't far from the elevators.

Thanks PamOKW, I have never been to BWV and I didn't know how the layout of villas were. Thanks for the information.

Vols -- Here's a link to the resort map to help you get oriented. The right-hand side is the Villas. The elevator is to the right of H (the lobby).

All 1BR's with a boardwalk view are some distance from the elevators. (They are above the Big River Grill and the DVC sales office). However, the supposed "long walk" is not really that long, from the elevators to the farthest away room is a walk of about two minutes at a casual pace. It seems longer than it is because you wind down several different hallways.
