Room Request VGF

I totally understand that a request is a request.
I am renting points and yes I know that I can't make the request only the owner can and I am fine with that.
We are in a 1bedroom lake view. How many people have had luck with there request?
I have read that VGF post and saw that a bunch of people have put in request and were given the HA room but a lot of those post were from 2014 and 2015.
I am wondering how things have been as of lately if any request have been granted.
I am 6 foot 6 and I read that the counters and sinks and things are lower in the HA, I guess being this tall I really don't want to bend or get on my knees ( no offense to anyone) to brush my teeth. It doesn't sound fun if spending all this money and having to do that in a room.

Just tell the person you rent from that you want to request a non-HA room.

But it will only be a request. And with GFV being so small, someone will get that HA one bedroom.
