We are renting points this Feb for the 3rd time and I'd really like to try and get a room with a daybed. The owner has indicated that on the reservation, but I'm wondering if there's anyway I can "hedge the bet" I know when you reserve through CRO it's often suggested that you send a fax to the room assignor 4-5 days before you arrive. Anything similiar to do with DVC? We travel as three adults and a child and she would really like the daybed rather than sleeping on the floor. I figure if I plead my case this way, maybe a CM will take pitty on me and honor the request. Any thoughts?
DVC members and guests aren't allow any more to send in fax requests - I have heard that some of the deluxe hotels are also saying this. these faxes are ignored.
the only DVC resort with a day bed is the BWV and if you have it - your confirmation will say - studio plus - if it is just studio - then you only have the queen bed and double sleeper sofa.

The studio plus is no longer a separate category so the confirmation should not list it. Your best bet is to make sure it's the first request noted on he confirmation, don't arrive late and restate your request on check in.
