Room Request Five Days Out

Hi..... We will be at the VLW begininning this Sunday. My wife has seen/heard that if you call the front desk five days out (like you can do at the regular resports to request rooms, views, etc) you will have your reservation request sink to the bottom of the pile and we can expect nothing close to our request.

Is this true? If not, does anyone have the direct number to the WLV front desk? Thanks.....:earsboy: :earsboy: :earseek:
 
Did you make your requests when you originally made your reservation? If so, then that's all you need to do. DVC is supposed to assign rooms by date of reservation. You can call or fax to confirm, but it should not affect the likelihood of getting your requests. The phone # should be on your confirmation.
 
Last Wed. I called to reserve a room for Father's Day, yes I know that was only 4 days in advance, and forgot to mention our medical needs for nonsmoking first floor. At check in Sunday morning 9a.m. I asked if it was at all possible to get either of these requests. Bill smiled, he had both, and the room was ready. Anything is possible, Disney magic and a little pixie dust. Good luck to you.
