We are staying at VWL in June. When is the best time to put in a room request and is it better to call, write or email my request? We are staying in a one bedroom and I don't know if it is a dedicated one bedroom or lock off. We like quiet in the am so we can sleep. What should I request to avoid car noises, dumpster/garbage truck noises or elevator noises? Thanks.

Call up now and place your requests. I always do mine when I make my reservation. It does no good to phine the hotel that I know of.

I have learned to request Water view high floor. So far, I have been fortunate. Up to that point I have had the front view, once the dreaded dumpster view... right next to it. I really don't recall it being bad for noise or we were out of the room when the truck came.

Call it in to Member Services, remember a Request is just that... a Request.

One of the great hings about being at the DVC resorts - QUIET ROOMS. they are all very well insulated and are so much beter than any regular motel we have ever stayed in. We have never heard our neighbors - it is like we are there all alone - we like that!
