Room refurb at WL?

Are the rooms at WL being refurbished right now? It seems from what I've been reading they are. We're staying there for the first time in December and I'm very excited. We spend more time eating there on our trips than anywhere else and I've always wanted to stay there. I'm not telling my DH that's where we're staying until we get to Disney and he starts to head toward Pop. It's our 25th wedding anniversary trip, so it calls for staying at a deluxe resort! I can't wait!

Yes, the refurb is probably about 85% done at this point, expected to be finished by end of Sept. The new rooms are great, we stayed in one for 10 nights last month. If you'd like to see pics, check out the links on page 1 of the WL thread.

Are the rooms at WL being refurbished right now?

The North Wing has been completed and I believe the South Wing should be done in September.

Yes, the rooms should be finished by your stay . You will LOVE the WL, especially at Christmas time. The lobby is breathtaking any time of year, but it's absolutely gorgeous during the holidays . The WL is our favorite resort that time of year as it has such a cozy, homey feel with all the beautiful decorations and it's so relaxing sitting around the fireplace watching all the hustle and bustle. Have a great trip.....you are going to love the lodge .
