Room Ready how early?

Hypothetical question, what if you have made reservations 11 months in advance, reguesting a specific unit. What do you think would take place if you arrive at 12:01AM on your check in date, would they hold that unit till the room is ready for you to check in later that day? Just wondering if members will be arriving in the wee hours of the morning to get their room reguests.

I think the earliest you can check-in is 7AM. Anything before then counts as the day before.

The key is the room has to be ready. The way it was explained to me, they do not hold rooms that are not ready. When you arrive, they will try to find a room that meets at least one of your requests. If you don't like the room assigned, you can return later to check on what is available. I'm not sure what happens if no rooms are available when you arrive. This is they way Jackie at DVC explained it to me. I believe she is the manager of DVC guest services.

I would never request a specific room, since there is no way for them to hold that room for early arrival unless they had it empty the night before. That wouldn't make much business sense. If everyone requested a specific room, reservations and MS would have a HUGE problem!!
