Room-only to Package Question?

Just curious... If I book a room-only reservation, and then a package comes out that I'd like, can I change to the package and keep my deposit?? Thanks for any help!

You can switch to the package, but you would need to make a separate $200 deposit, and have your old room-only deposit refunded back to your credit card.

I just called and upgraded my room only to a myw package and what rhonda said is what they did to me... she refunded my room only deposit back to me and then started all over... of course i did use my disney visa to pay the whole thing at once so i could get the 0% interest but it was a 200 dollar depoist other wise.
