Room only rate... pretty disappointed

As you know we are planning a new spring trip to keep up with the unfortunate Christmas one and so had decided to try and book for April 26th to 30th.
As mum and me are AP's holders i rang to check the rate for a room only and had to call the Italian call center as i seemed unable to go through the number i found in the Useful Informations Thread.
Anyway for the Sequoia Lodge the rate i got was 1000 euros (4 nights) when the whole package on the official website was 1215
So it seems the only chance we have is to book offsite again....

But is this really the only discount we can have as AP holders??

That's pretty high I've only had a couple of quotes where I thought that's not bad.

not really - its "up to" 35% off, depending on which hotel you want, and which dates you want.

Nope, both are for two people. I have tried and search for *room only* rates in some websites but it looks like it's even higher. so i think it will be Dream Castle or Magic Circus this time... shame because i'd really liked to stay onsite but it's way too expensive for an unplanned trip.

BTW do you know if Cheyenne or Santa Fe have wi fi connection in the rooms even if you have to pay for it?

No room only anywhere else anymore
Try putting one person in for the dates you want then you add the other at check in fir only a few euros lots of us do this, it works out cheaper.
Just book your self and add mam at check in.
I didn't have wifi in the room at the Cheyenne in November but the main building did.

Yes it's safe to do
Most with APs book one person and add the rest at check in.
What price do you get for one person at the SL and have you tried playoff around with dates Sundays are normally cheaper to check in
No good if dates are tied.
You could wait for a flash sale but not sure if they cover 4 nights.
Yes always just book one person it will work put cheaper.

I haven't done that before sorry our ap rooms have us all on as it was still cheaper than a package.
I wouldn't see a problem with it at all though.
Have a good play around with dates and one person only see what comes out best.
For feb 2016 I have a family room for 5 booked only for me will add the other 4 at check in.

your price for the room only with AP discount is for the room, its not per person, so it would still be 1000 euros, whether its for one or 2 people (or 3, or 4) in the room.
