Room occupancy / extra magic hours problem

I am taking my friends and their kids to our dvc resort for their first disney trip. Between their family and my kids and myself, we are at the max room capacity. My husband, who is active duty military, was supposed to be away during our trip but now his deployment has been delayed (thank God) and he can come with us. Three of the kids coming with us are 4 and 5 years old, so we have plenty of space in the room, but my issue is with my husband joining us for extra magic hours since he can't be a registered guest in the room. Does anyone have any advice?

Sure, just book a larger unit.

It is against the DiS policy to discuss ways to get around rules at Disney. if your husband visiting puts you over room occupancy, then you need to book an additional room,
