Room Location(s) @ BCV

We are checking in next Sunday the 20th. We've never been to BCV and I can do my on-line check-in now. The room requests were: ground floor, near transportation, fridge, & pack-n-play.

You can make 2 requests. I don't need a pack-n-play. I'm guessing I'm getting a mini-fridge, since I'm staying in a Deluxe Studio. So, do I want ground floor or near transportation? I'm thinking that I'd like to be as high as possible for a good view of EPCOT. Is there anything else to be higher to look at? Or should I want ground floor? Is it important to be near transportation? It is at Kidani, but at Beach Club?

I'm a little confused. Should i just wait until arrival to check in and ask for something else? Any help would be appreciated.

Don't do online check in. You get what you get when you do that. If you want to make a request when you arrive that you didn't include on your reservation, I'm not sure you can do it.

Hi, I would CALL and add the room request to your reservation. Then do online check-in. Also when you pick up your packet at the desk tell them what you requested and ask if it has been honored?? I did this last week when I stayed at the BWV and got exactly what I requested. When I stay at the BCV I like the upper floors facing the woods or EPCOT. The other view request could be quiet pool (this will also give you a parking lot view on an upper floor) or a courtyard view,this faces the Beach Club Hotel. Good Luck!! Joan

Thanks, that is exactly the information I needed. I'll call and request an EPCOT view. The map was excellent to give me a visual of what the choices are.

Hi, I forgot to mention that SOMETIMES they will not let you request EPCOT view. (It is different each time I call.) So I usually say WOODS that face the BACK of Epcot if they have a problem with EPCOT view. Also there is a back road that faces EPCOT and this view can be a noisy one especially in the early morning when trucks are making deliveries. This is another reason I specify woods view. Joan

FYI - I just called and requested a room on the 5th floor that is on the "EPCOT side" of the resort. I was kindly reminded there are no "official" EPCOT views at BCV. I also requested a room number on that side. The CM wondered where I got the room numbers, as Disney doesn't publish those. So, the map that robertdangelo furnished came in very handy. Thanks to you both for the info.

Don't forget,when you check-in (even if you have done online check-in) just remind them that you had a special request for a room and ask if it is where you are being placed?? I have found the CM's at the BCV desk to be VERY helpful in placing you where you would like to be!! Joan

I totally agree with this. There have been times when we checked in without online check in, and I didn't like the room assignment we were given. I asked if I had any alternatives, and frequently I did.
